Hi, I was intending to sign up for this, but I haven't seen anything on the Bachmann website. What's up?

Hi Mike,

We typically announce the new item each year at the April TCA York show.  If we have the announcement sooner we will put it on-line.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

BTW, I keep hoping you'll shock me by offering the F-3's in CGW colors Smiley

I am still hoping that some day WBB will offer their great scale F-3 engines in several fallen flag railroads.

I still want the Deramus red CGW engines, but also would love to see greyback CB&Q freight engines too.

I sure hope someone at WBB hears us Dom.

I think WBB could have a real money-making opportunity, with their F-3 sets. I would package ABA's and a matching caboose.

The other companies would be playing catch-up again.

Bachmann, are you listening? Smiley

Hi Mike,

We are always listening!  We may not elect to do an idea for many reasons.  Your idea for example. The matching cabooses are a good idea, but many people would just want a set of AA's with the option to buy the B unit and caboose.  Packaging them together would limit the potential sales because the price point would be very high and force people to purchase all 4 items.

We keep a running list of all feasible ideas that we receive.  We look at this list before every planned production run, so keep the ideas coming. You may see one of them in a future catalog.

I know what you mean. Although, when is the last time you saw a Chicago Great Western caboose in O scale?

I do think the Fallen Flags concept with your scale F-3 is something you need to consider.

Thanks for listening!

Red CGW would also work as a red version of the MKT!

While the option of packaging the four units together might be high, what about giving a small monetary discount to a person who purchases all four items together. Option one would be to buy just the AA units, option two would be to buy the AA units and the B unit, option three is to buy both the AA units & B unit along with the caboose.
