Pre-Built Versus Put Together?
«

Hello,
Quick question...the prebuilt kits, do they basically just come pre-assembled and could actually be dis-assembled if you wanted? Or are they forever put together? Just trying to understand the difference between the kits and pre-built.
Thanks!

Dear Grim,
They are not meant to be taken apart.
Happy New Year!

I just noticed that there are some buildings that come only in the assemble it yourself and a couple that come pre-built only. Most of the O,S gauge buildings are made in the put together and cost a little less.

Mr Bachmann
Are the build it yourself buildings snap together or glue it together?
If put it together yourself kits costs less that would be welcome not to mention
working together with one's kids or Scouting Progects!!!!!!!

Dear M1,
While originally designed to snap together, most now require glue.Have fun!

If you want to glue the buildings together I would use a glue that can be taken apart rather easy or use a glue gun with hot glue. Or maybe you can find some strong tape and tape it together on the inside, that way it is not a permanent put together.
