It's "O-27", a copy of Lionel's 1950 UP passenger set..

It's a quality set and a very good copy of the traditionally sized original.

The (approx) 12" cars look better on my layout than 18-20" scale cars would.

Bachmann's new starter sets have similar equipment

LOOKS GREAT! Way to go Bachmann! Are there going to be "dummy" Alco A units for the ready to run Santa Fe and Pennsy sets? And maybe a couple of extra coaches?

I haven't seen any separate-sale A units but Williams has been offering two-car add-ons for the 0-27 passenger cars

WBB makes a "extra" 2 car set, #43247. They are sold out at the moment, but will arrive early this year. Contact me to pre order a set for you.
