Title: Hudson vs. Hudson
Post by: TrainManDan on June 25, 2010, 12:40:48 AM
What are the main differences between Williams semi scale hudson and their 2056 hudson? The 2056 is a reproduction, and has a different tender, but are they the same besides that? The 2056 isn't referred to as semi scale, but I feel like the two are very similar- sort of like the two scale hudsons- the 773 just has a slightly shorter tender than the other if I remember correctly.

Anyway, just wanted some info, and if anyone prefers one over the other.

Hi Trainman Dan,

Your assumptions are correct.  The 2056 has the same streamlined tender as the S-2 turbine, the semi-scale Hudson has the same tender as the Berkshire.
