Title: F7 Windshield Detached
Post by: peisenmetrains on June 27, 2011, 09:11:22 AM
I recently acquired a Williams CNW F7 ABA set (new old stock).  The windshield on the powered A unit is detached and is in the interior of the shell. Not a problem to get at but what is the best adhesive to use to re-attach?  I ask because plastic on plastic glues can be a bit peculiar.  Thanks. Paul

JP of Acton MA, USA writes,

I use either Testors brand plastic model cement or any brand of super glue. I have had widow pieces fall out of some of my trains, and I find that both plastic model cement and super glue work really well for reattaching the windows to the trains.

Sincerely: JP

Thanks JP. I'll give one of those a try.
