Title: Bachmann Santa Fe GP38-2 & S.P.70 ton Switcher -More Details
Post by: Sunshine Express on July 24, 2011, 08:21:38 PM
I am considering a Bachmann GP32-2 Santa Fe Diesel with DCC and a Sth.Pacific 70 ton Switcher DCC,for my small layout. Recently retired a couple of very old Athearn DC Diesels    .
Do these Bachmann Diesels  have die cast chassis, and flywheels ?. Very happy with me Bachmann American 4-4-0 DCC,and the Jupiter 4-4-0 DC only.
Descriptions from On Line Dealers, leave much to the imagination, and or knowledge.

The GE 70-ton is a beautiful engine, i got some footage at my local model railroad club of it running.

As you can tell, its a very hard worker and will make any owner happy  :)

Spend some time looking at the loco diagrams for these locos. The diagrams show a lot. I refer to the Bachmann diagrams quite a lot.
I just wish Bachmann would leave the diagrams of older locos up instead of dropping them.
