Title: Wiring for lights on Jackson Sharp Passenger car kits
Post by: Young on August 04, 2011, 05:45:31 AM
Hi guys,

I am assembling one of these kits but cannot see how to wire the lighting circuit. Photo of parts location not clear enough for me to see which wire goes where. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Bazza

Hi Guys,

It's me again!

Has no-one assembled one of these kits yet?

Bachmann's Service Dept cannot help me - so it is over to you guys. Any help and guidance welcomed!

I haven't done a new kit , but have put together an older Bighauler kit as well as tore into a few used. Most of mine have been battery powered and one I converted from track power. It seems to me that it didn't really matter witch way the the power ran as long as it was kept consistent through out the car. Run your positive lead up one side and into your lights and your neg out and down the other side. For track powered cars , make sure that when on the track that both pos pickups are on the same rail and both neg pickups are on the other.     Hope this helps.....S.B.

Dear Friends,

Anyone remember the LED kit, battery powered that came as a string of LED's that fastened or were taped to the inner roof of the shell ?  It seems to me this was mentioned here a few years ago, or perhaps on the LS forum.  Thanks.
