Title: How to wire a Tsunami - basics
Post by: richg on December 05, 2011, 11:02:02 AM
Some here have asked about sound decoders. The decoder is the 1 amp shrink wrapped version. Here is a link to some basic info. This guy is a regular contributor n the Yahoo SoundTraxx Group.
The light board sound decoders are quite different in layout.

You can download the video to your PC for future reference. Look at all his other videos. He has some great projects that should inspire many of you. You can stop the video at any point and enlarge the view for more detail.

Thank you very much! As they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Downloaded it in my favorites already. Your findings are always educational. Keep up the good work.

That's Laurie McLean.   He has some terrific animated people on his layout.   He takes plastic little people and carves them out, adds mechanical wires to the arms, etc and then a small micro motor under the base for movement.
A master at animation for sure.
