Title: WILLIAMS BC 201S 3 BUDD CAR (AAA) NYC W/SOUND
Post by: Brian BUDD on March 07, 2012, 10:58:24 AM
Could anyone tell me if this is a powered unit?  Where can I find specific product information on this train car? Also, what does Crow Edition signify?  Thank you in advance?

The Crown Edition was made about 10 to 15 years ago by Mr. Williams when he owned the company, and it was supposed to be their top of the line for that time.

Not sure what exactly you have but it seems like it is for the New York Central RR, and the unit most likely has a QSI sound unit inside.

Look underneath the unit to see if there are any gears next to a wheelset, if so it might be powered. If it looks like a rectangle box and dark metal it is an unpowered unit.
