Title: PRR Tuscan Red
Post by: pwaldron on February 09, 2007, 11:29:16 PM
I really like the shade of tuscan red used on the PRR passenger cars.  The color is apparently molded into the plastic.  I would like to paint other cars this color. Any suggestions for commercial paint that would come close?

Dear p,
I used Floquil on the prototypes.
Have fun!

Scalecoat will work too.  I use both this & Floquil.  Don't forget to spray gloss too before decalling & a flat coat after the decals set!!
