Could you please tell me if the Bachmann track in the Big Haulers is suitable for use outside or is it only designed for inside use.?
Can I leave it permanently outside or will it rust.

The steel track is indoor only. It will rust to nothing in no time and the ties will sun rot to powder.

Good news is bachmann has just started selling Brass track for outdoor use.
there are other brands as well.
