our you can just splice the wires from one end to the other   or even best  tap on each wire  so you have 2  different connections to each style of track.  dave

Dear EC,

Atlas Snap Track has screw terminal track sections.  Items 840 and 845 are HO Code 100 terminal sections.  Item 554 is a HO Code 83 terminal section.   Atlas also sells terminal rail joiners.

Cut the rectangular end off the red Bachmann controller-to-track cable, then strip the two wires back about 1/2 inch and wrap each end around a screw terminal.

If you don't want to cut the cable, go buy a stereo 1/8" plug with 3 contacts: tip, ring (middle) and sleeve (base).

Solder one wire to the ring contact, and the other to the sleeve contact.  The Tip of the plug is not used in this application.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
