i just got a new 2/8/0 i.V had them b4 this is dcc it doesn.t pull like my 4/6/0 the 4/6/0 wil 10 cars easly the 2/8/0 wont pull 6 cars up incline of 2% the 4/6/0 wil
Look for a bind in the wires that may be lifting the back of the loco or dragging tender wheels. The frame didn't change from the original 2-8-0 to the DCC version, only the tender so it should perform just as well. Another thing to do is loosen the screws on the bottom plate of the loco a quarter turn. Sometimes when the plate is too tight, it can put the axle bushings in a bind.
