1. Can I run a DCC "On Board" loco, such as the new 4-4-0, with its decoder installed using a standard DC power pack or would I have to get one of those shorting plugs, such as comes with a "DCC Ready" loco?
2. Assuming I need to replace the decoder, does anyone know if the 4-4-0 comes with a "DCC ready" shorting plug?
