What's up? I decided to make this thread for people to share their predictions of what Troublesome Truck #4 would be. It could be one of the following:
•Season 1 Troublesome Truck
•CGI Troublesome Truck
•The van from "A Close Shave For Duck"
•A salt wagon with a face
I won't really care which one it will be. I'll be okay with what they've chosen. What do you think it will be?
i would not think season 1 troublesome truck is going to be chosen, but other than that, any truck will do.
Mostly like it will have a CGI face on it, no doubt about that, so Season 1 truck is out of the question :-\ But the Hornby ones arent too bad though.

Season 1 truck is not out in Bachmann.
He meant it's out as in, out of the picture. :P
My money is on the salt van, as it is discontinued :).

I think a salt wagon repainted with a troublesome truck face stuck on it could happen!

Even if Bachmann were to make a season 1 Troublesome Truck, the only reason would be that they have the tooling for it. Just paint a truck dark gray, and give it a season 1 face. Almost like what they did when making S.C. Ruffey. S.C. Ruffey was only ever in one episode of season 4.

yeah in the first few seasons especially in the episode where Oliver tears apart S.C. Ruffy
Um, actually they were only featured in Season 4, utilizing the faces used on the narrow gauge slate trucks.... Such a shame that they weren't used as much, which hopefully opens up a possibility that they might be made, only a possibility...
The faces were always well made

I have a feeling that the next troublesome truck will be the venelated van repainted ( hopefully with the enlarged troublesome truck #2 face).
Idk but I'm excited to see the results.
The other night I dreamed Troublesome Truck #4 was a six ton wagon with Troublesome Truck #1/2 livery and a face like that of Lionel's trucks.
I'm still hoping Troublesome Truck 4 is this van. I imagine it'd be a hot seller too, since people would buy 4 to complete their Flying Kippers.

ah, well, if it is the Salt wagon that will be used for TT4, we can see if bachmann uses the van pictured with the qoute for TT5 or for a giggling Troublesome Truck, if the Sound fitted Thomas proves successful.
As much as I want to see that massive laughing van appear in the range, I think it's more likely the Salt Wagon will be re-released as the next Troublesome Truck.

I expect the Salt Van as the most likely option, but I'm still hoping for some variety this time. It'd be really nice to have one of the more memorable Troublesome Trucks.

Yeah, three of the Troublesome Trucks so far have happy, cheeky faces, but not the cross or neutral faces... I hope they'll stick with a different face on a different truck for sure! Seeing that a cattle van was used as the #3 truck, I hope another van like the salt van will be the #4 truck, like some of you mentioned, per se.
emailed bachmann about TT #4 whether there is an image available, but they said it is still in the works.

That's a pretty nice photoshop! Admittedly, I'd be happier if we got something outside of a tanker or a wagon there are plenty of those in the range right now as it is! Of course if the face is done right, then there isn't much reason to complain since that's what everyone liked about TT #3. :)
It's pretty clear that Troublesome Truck #4 has the most hype as far as HO additions are concerned, but I think that has more to do with the speculation of what it's design choice is going to be. Either way, the results will be interesting.

I would prefer the brown from the discontinued Cattle wagon, but not like too light and glossy brown.

Personally, I do hope TT#4 is another van to the range instead of a tanker, wagon, etc. As much as I like the Close Shave van, I think it's a little big when compared with other cars in the range. I would hope for something like this...

So Far, getting a lot of responses:
1st place: The Old Van from A Close Shave: although a kit is available for this wagon, it is a high demand.
2nd place: Salt Wagon: another high demand due to it being discontinued, except in the Salty set.
3rd place: 77026 Ventilated Van: that surprises me as it is being used for the re-design Thomas Christmas Set
I posted this in another thread, but I thought I'd bring it up here. I was checking out Troublesome Truck 4's page and there is shipping weight listed. It is different amongst most of the rolling stock pieces except the ice cream wagon. So I'm convinced based on that information that it will be the same van used for the ice cream wagon, only repainted with a new face on it.

I check the salt wagon's weight and it is a quarter of a pound at 0.25ibs. So if a future troublesome truck is weighted 0.25ibs, that should be a good indication that it will be a repainted salt wagon with a face.
If it is a salt wagon, here's a speculative idea on what it might look like, I think:

My theory is that it will be a salt wagon, ventilated van, or a regular truck with a CGI style face.
