Bachmann does not sell sound decoders.
A SoundTraxx Micro Tsunami might work.
There is a 750, heavy steam decoder but not for a 2-6-6-2.

It would have to be hard wired. I see a six pin connector in the diagram page.
LokSound has a N scale Micro with six pin plug. No idea if the connector would match though.
Be advised, it will not be plug and play, at all.
Speaker will be another issue. Some people are using cell phone speakers quite successfully for sound.

Top Hobby Trains will convert this loco to sound for $210.00. All you supply is the loco. They install a LokSound Micro.
I did a Google search.

thanks for the followup. I will have to check out soundtraxx, the engine runs as good as my bigboy and I was hoping with sound it could even sound as good.

I have a Bachmann N scale 2-6-6-2 with an ESU Loksound Select Micro in it. It runs very well. Search Youtube for my video under gatrhumpy1.
