Title: Problems programming Locos
Post by: CURACAO on February 13, 2007, 10:01:39 AM
I recently purchased the ez command center that comes with a loco.  as per instructions the id is pre-programmed on #3.  I am trying to change it to another number but it will not go.  I also tried programming another loco with no luck the loco does not respond.  I followed the instruction and the dvd.

How can i trouble shoot this?

I am located in Curacao its a small island in the caribbean and there is no hobby shop here to help me out.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Is it a problem with the current used in Curacao?

Dear Brian,
Think "control, alt, delete"...
When changing the address, push the number 3, and, while holding it down, push stop. Then release together. Then push the new address. The loco will move slightly, indicating the neww address has been accepted. Press stop again, and you should be good to go.
Have fun!

Mr. B,

Thank you very much for the instruction.  I did it and all worked ok.  I was pressing the STOP and #3 together.  Your simple advise of pressing the #3  keep it in, then pressing the STOP did the trick for me.  Once again thank you.

Regards,

Brian
