Title: Steam tractors hauling a lowboy with narrow gauge engine
Post by: fred lundgren on May 26, 2014, 07:33:06 PM
If you are looking to model something different on your On30 layout here are a couple of  videos of steam tractors hauling a narrow gauge diesel and a crane. Corgi makes models of these  steam tractors in O scale

The Lombard is really neat with the steering wheel in the forward enclosure.

keith Wiseman sells the Case steam tractor in 1:48 scale for the American modelers.
This is a beautiful white metal kit and is worth the money. These engines were found all over the country running everything from small saw mills to farms.
