Title: Pocohontas Rail Bus
Post by: Corusman on March 14, 2017, 04:36:45 AM
I have just bought a Pocohontos Railbus. I have studied the exploded diagram, but it does not help.
How do I separate the body from the chassis, as I want to add passengers.

I am looking at a chassis in my hand right know.
I don't have the body.
It appears the body is clicked to the chassis just in the middle of the front seats and the motor housing and in the middle of the back-seats.

Thanks for the information. However I have tried to unclip the bodies without success.
I think they may be held by the coupling screws. Do your chassis have couplings and if so do the screws protrude above the chassis?
If not I shall have to get brave and start dismantling,

The coupling screws are what their name says and have no function in holding the body.
I always keep in mind that a product has been assembled, so it also can be disassabled.
The problem is discovering the right sequence.

Thanks for all your help Ton. Confident that the screws didn't attach the body, I got a bit rough with the thing and have successfully separated body from chassis. Not only was it clipped in place there were four spots of adhesive!

Happy modelling,
