Does anyone out there knows if there is a way to set up an HO DCC locomotive with sound & E-Z Command so that the diesel blast sound goes off automatically at certain section of track?
And if so, how would I go about accomplishing this?

There is not with the equipment you list.
To do what you want requires,
- Add a sensor circuit to the track
- Install a decoder in locomotive that can use input from sensor
- Replace the E-Z Command Control Center with a full feature DCC system
This one of those things that easy to ask for but complex to do.
What is a full feature DCC system?
Something such as a Dynamis system would be one although you would need the Pro-Box add-on for CV read back.
There are other options as well from other manufacturers, they generally cost upwards of $175 or so.
OK, I just purchased & received a Bachmann 36505 E-Z Command Dynamis Wireless Infrared DCC System. So, what else do I need to get?
Can you recommend a product or website I can go to?
Are there any tutorial type videos and/or instructions anywhere on showing how to set this up?
