Title: Bach Man. Is 6.67VDC minimum output on the n scale auto reverse by design?
Post by: kmcsjr on April 08, 2017, 10:29:52 PM
 :(B man.
I just opened up 44847. The minimum voltage on the variable output is 6.67 VDC. Is my controller defective, or is it a design flaw/limitation? It takes your trolley 61085 (the one depicted on the box), directly to ludicrous speed. The trolley runs great at 2-3 VDC. If it is truly the min voltage, I'll be sadly returning the set.

Please advise.

Thanks
Marty

I'm sad. The final answer is 6.67VDC, is the minimum output. This means trolleys travel WAY too fast. The Trolley on the Auto Reverse kit travels nicely at around 2VDC. I  returned my set  :(
