Title: volume with BAchmann EZ command

Can EZ command control the volume of BLI engines?...and if so, how?   Thanks!!

No, you'll need a more advanced controller to adjust the volume CVs.

Depends on decoder -

If Paragon 2 Diesel decoder
Pressing Function 8 once mutes the volume and reverses the volume control direction.  Double pressings Function 8 causes the volume to either increase or decrease by a factor of step size (CV130).

I did note this:
    if the BLI is producing a sound and the red LED is flashing because you have pressed the yellow button;
press the # 8 button somewhat rapidly (if you press it once, the sound is turned off) an even number of times (example 10 or 12 times) the volume WILL decrease.  If you do this too many times the volume will begin to increase again.

This does not change the start up sound value however.  It will be back at the same level the next time you use the engine.
