Title: 2-8-0
Post by: Barry Karlberg on August 25, 2017, 04:19:09 AM
Bachman is there a possibility that the 2-8-0 (IC prototype) will be re-released with DCC/Sound similar to the new ones in N scale?

Thanks,

Barry

The Connie would be a great candidate for the sound-value line.

Once upon a time, these locos were available with full sound on board... they were still Spectrum models at the time.  I have two of them.

It seems like a logical next step. Here's hoping Bachmann thinks so, too.

Regards,

Jonathan

I miss the Spectrum line.

I agree, Jonathan and for my IC railroad it's close enough to the prototype for me.

To add to a possible re-production would be a tender backup light in the middle and tender footboards to make the model a great local engine. Just some suggestions.

I am a very happy customer with the five I have and the first being one I purchased almost 20 years ago and still running strong and smooth.

Great job Bachmann.

I have 7 and am well pleased also, though they were at their best as Spectrum DCC / sound in the black box.

Dear BOK,
I quite agree.
I'll pass this along!

Thanks, Bach Man. It's great to have a "listening ear" for suggestions and a way to pass them along.
