Can't find anything about it.  Anyone know?

Has black steam locomotive and tender with number 2126.  White Kelvinator box car, blue "The Rock" tank car, yellow Union Pacific hopper car, Santa Fe caboose, 24 signs and poles, trestle set, crossover bridge, 37x45 oval track and power pack.

It sounds like you have the "Iron Horse" set, possibly repacked and renamed for sale at a specific store chain:

The only obvious difference from your description is a gondola car with pipe load, rather than a hopper. The locomotive is the old x-6-x "do it all", no pick-ups on the tender, train set streamer of the time. Depending on the set, and the addition of additional trucks, it could be an 0-6-0, 2-6-0, or 2-6-2. Later versions also had a smoke unit that was prone to melt the front of the boiler shell over time.

And the cars are 'modern era', and really belong behind a diesel.
