Title: Coupler Change C19 from Bachmann to LBG?
Post by: Kutsche on November 11, 2017, 01:46:18 PM
Hello Sirs,

I am owner of a brand new C19 BumbleBee.

Because all of my rolling stokes equiped with LGB hook and loop couplers I have to change it.

Can someone explain me how it works?

Sorry for my bad english  :o

Greetings from Germany
Michael

Michael,
Purchase an LGB knuckle couple for the first car behind your locomotive(not the tender). LGB knuckle couplers will mate with the C-19's Bachmann coupler. You can leave hook & loop on the remaining cars.

UNfortunately I cannot get to the box for my C19, but I seem to recall that it came with a high and low coupler so it can be run with either the 1:20.3 or the 1:22.5 equipment.  As I recall It would be a simple matter to substitute a Bachmann  hook and loop coupler for the Bachmann  knuckle coupler.   Can anyone with a C19 verify it, I do not trust my memory on this.
