Is there an drawing somewhere.
I can't find it in the Bachmann product reference section.

I do not know of any diagrams for the streetcars and none have been posted here that I could find. sorry we could no help.

There's a couple of sections that have LS in it...
(sorry when you say closed end car, I assume it is the Peter Witt Street car (the only street car they have made), as opposed to the Trolleys)

There was no "Christmas" Peter Witt, so it is not necessarily correct to assume that Ton is referring to a Peter Witt. The only closed Christmas version is the Trolley. Many refer to the Trolleys as street cars here on the Bachmann site, and many of the folks here are not purists as they often are on LSC or LSOL. It can be hard to detect at times. Many here also say "cowcatcher" as opposed to the correct term "pilot"

Too bad, was hoping to help, and I added that part since Bachmann called the street car and trolley different names, but I realized there might be a closed end trolley, so I added that qualifying sentence after posting.

I'm looking for the closed street car(Trolley).
It was also made in 0n30, but this is the large (LGB) version.
Last night i did some surgery on the model.
The motor unit comes off with four screws.
The unit opens with six screws.
There isn't much space for a decoder.
I use the model as a static display under my tree , no space for track, and want to light it up without running it.
I can light it up using a DCC controller on address zero but then you get the high pitched DCC noise from the motor.
That's quite irritating.
So i have two options; installing a decoder or disconnecting the motor.
Both have their challenges.

My guess is that the motor does not draw a lot of current. The HO decoders are pretty darn small lately.

Yes you are absolutely right, a small one should do the trick.
It doesn't have to run.
the other day i bought a MRC loco genie just to test it in one of my 0n30 models.
It's a bit disappointing, to say the least, so i thought i use it in the street car.
It has a remote control and then i don't have to use a dedicated DCC controller as it runs on DC or AC.
