several questions from this newbie, 1- can i run ho engines on my on30 bachmann ez track, 2-i have several tight 18 inch circles , will a 2-8-0 engine handle curves like a 2-6-0 or will the extra axle maybe be tight , thank you glenn
HO and On30 use the same spacing between the rails and have the same power requirements. So both scales will run on track made for the other.
So you're asking if an HO 2-8-0 will run on 18" radius curves, right?
Bachman's Baldwin 2-8-0 models will work on them, is this the model you're asking about?

A Bachmann HO scale locomotive with tender. This HO scale die-cast 2-8-0 #1257 steam locomotive includes a Great Northern tender. it looks like those you posted, thank you very much for your help. i also was given a bachmann motorized trolley, i have some extra on30 ez-track left over, what else would i need to make the reversing trolley work ?
