Title: New N scale GP40

Yard Master, I just recently acquired one of your new GP40's (the one with the completely revised internals) and I noticed that the instruction sheet says that it "MAY be equipped with a smoke generating feature". Since it's not a steam locomotive, I assume this is just some boilerplate text that comes with all models, and that smoke generating diesels are not in our future. Is that correct?

As a follow-up question, I see that there are speaker holes in the fuel tank. Does that mean that DCC-Sound versions are in the works?

Dear Mark,
There are certainly no smoking diesels in the works!
As for sound, new announcements will be made at Toy Fair,
and again at NMRA.
