How do you disassemble an FP7 to install dcc?

Beat me to it! I was about to post the same link.

Note the instructions are for the TCS decoder, but they apply to any mfg's hardwire decoder.

For the record I have never seen an HO Bachmann FP7 and did not know Bachmann even made one.

Now that you mention it, I haven't either. I've got a few FP7's, but they're Atlas, Athearn, and Intermountain. I wonder if that Bachmann FP7-B is actually an F7-B??

FP engines are something you find out about after being in railroading for awhile.  They are a little arcane and obscure for a mass marketer like Bachmann ....... although some of the Spectrum engines , like the long gone Decapod (😫😪😭) were arcane ...... Bachmann made thousands compared to the 200 or so prototypes that got marooned in the US by the 1917 Bolshevik revolution.
