Title: Steam era oil lamp lens
Post by: #94 on January 01, 2008, 09:19:00 PM
How do you make lens for oil style lamps? Dia 11/32. What do you use for an adhesive that will not show? Have seen just a few with nice clear lens. I have a Selly (white metal?) lamp for my On30 T- Boiler Shay. This along with removing the generator will make it look more like #94 as delivered. For any of you that need to back date an engine this detail from Bowser (just lucky) fits over the Bachmann light if you remove the visor.

Or use white glue with a toothpick.
