Title: Where can I get a Tender?
Post by: Allamuchy Joe on February 05, 2008, 12:08:24 AM
Mr. Bachmann,

Where can I purchase an On30 tender for a 2-6-0? Does Bachmann sell these parts?

Thanks,
Joe

I would like to have 4 of the 2-8-0 tenders myself for my C16's.

Why not make all three On30 tenders available individually? After all, you do this in HO.

How about a small Whaleback Tender? I have been loking for one.

Yeah, I want to be able to purchase a tender from either the 2-6-0 or the 2-8-0. I want to replace the tender on the C-16 and modify my Forney to a 2-4-0.

It would also be nice to be able to use them for modified HO models.

I would love to be able to get the Bachmann On30 tenders separately

I would really like to see some On30 tenders available separately.  The On30 crew seems much more likely than those in other scales to bash their locos into something completely different, and extra tenders would really be helpful.

I did have an extra tender from a Bachmann 2-8-0, which I used when I upgraded a BLI 2-8-0, and it looks really good.

Dear All,
The service department can occasionally supply a tender from a broken loco. Give them a call.
Have fun!

Tenders for the 2-6-0 are also available from Paul Martin at EDM Models in UK

See half way down this page for brass/resin kit
