Title: changing numbers

I have two 4-4-0 with the same number. Has anyone tried to change the numbers on Bachmans 4-4-0? If you did what did you do. Thanks Larry

Take a wood pencil and use the eraser to remove as much of the number as you need and then use decals for the new number.  You may get away with leaving the number boards as they are.  Otherwise, paint and renumber.

Gene, thanks for the info. Where would you get the decals to match the bachman gold lettering? Thanks

I use Champ decals if available.  While they are no longer printing, they still have a big inventory.

The Woodland Scenics dry transfers are nice, too, and they have a Red/Gold pack. ;)
