Title: EZTrack Switches Power routing?
Post by: 65olds on September 02, 2008, 12:34:10 PM
Are EZTrack switches power routing (where the power is only sent to the track the switch is set for)?  If not, is there a way to make them like the old PECO swittches I have?   Thanks, 65Olds

I have mostly insil-frog Bachmann turnouts along with a couple that are electro-frog and as far as I can tell the answers to your questions are no and no.

The standard remote is not power routing, the numbered turnouts apparently are. This link might provide the information you need:

I only use "all-live" turnouts, if I need an isolated siding I use a separate switch and insulated joiners.
