I have a baseball train set made by bachman and sold by the hawthorn village my question is is it possible to convert this to dcc if so would I have to change the lighting in the passenger cars to keep from getting heat damage the engine is a F7 if this can't be done is there a similar modal by bachman that is dcc ready that I can just swap the shells thanks For any help I receive

Bachmann does produce inexpensive decoder equipped HO FT-A & FT-B locomotives.

Lights in cars should be 14V  but get them as far away from shell as you can or just remove the lightbulb.

I had a similar question earlier this month, regarding my G Scale engine.
Bac-man answered and said, " Any engine can be converted to DCC, you just have to isolate the motor, and connect the appropriate DCC decoder."
