I didn't know about sound.  I have never installed a sound card.
I have G Scale with sound, I guess I just never thought about it.
I have 3 main lines in front of my house. I almost never hear the engine because of noise from the wheels, with a toot thrown in once in awhile.

Thanks, I'll forget the smoke. I have sound in several G Scale engines and after running several hours, they get on your last nerve.
I traded an RC Heli for 16 HO train engines all Santa Fe. A couple friends are building a 5 by 10 layout. The plywood top is done and we're going to put Homosote on top of that.  Seems like a little over kill.
Running HO will be much easier on me that being outside when it's hot.  I think I should add, there's 5 inches of snow right now.

Does this engine smoke?

Can sound be installed in it.

Where would I buy a smoke or sound unit for it,

I have one, but the boss of the house doesn't know about it yet.

It's a sad day, I just got an email from Aristocraft. They are closing their doors 12-31-2013.
I know they will be missed.

If you decide to lay your track on the ground, don't use PEA Gravel. The round smooth gravel doesn't work well.

I haven't tried battery power yet, I hope to soon. I have rc planes flying with batteries that I ordered from Hobby King.
Batteries that cost $79.99 three years ago,are now $7.00 when on sale.
I have major work to do on my layout, after 3 years of NOT running.

Does the Aristo Craft Revolution receiver work in the K-27 as a plug in system?

Last year, we made it to Durango and saw the engines. Under full steam it will bring tears to your eyes. I have 2 of the Bachmann K-27's, but I've never seen them run. My layout should be back up and running soon.

Bill, I have a small river back of my home, but the deer have it easier to drink from my pond. I had heard of the flower trick, but wasn't sure if I believed it.
We're already planning our trip to York in September, hope you make it.

Mark, I have a thief problem here. I never lock my doors until a crack head moved next door. I turned her in to the state police and they did nothing. A local g scalier drops by and takes what he wants. brite lights and a camera......
I decided to plant barberry bushes around the house and fix it so you have to go through my house to get to the trains.
Every one says to use weed block, but I've never had much luck with it.
