Thanks for the advice.
The front truck does not swivel as free as it should.
Going to take it off and check the hole and the face of the mounting stud.
And will check the draw bar.
No I am not thinking of reaming the axles.
Adding weight will help, the tender is really light.

Lead Sleds?
Use to watch my Brother with the torch, the lead bar,
and the rasp working on his Rod.

Mine arrived from Micro-Mark in great shape and time.

Runs Great.

But the tender will not stay on the track.

Am using the last hole in the drawbar.   22r. track, plenty of slack with the wires.

I think the front truck needs to be removed   and the hole needs to be reamed.

As soon as my arthritic hands loosen up I will work on it.

That's why I prefer On30, easier too see and work on.

Perhaps you can take your piece of track to a Radio Shack, or another store that sells electronic gear and see if they have the connectors you want.

That unit was made as a Track Cleaner.

The things on each end,

are the cleaning brushes.

Live in Southern Calif., Near Los Angeles.
Spent most of my life working as a machinist for
North American Aviation-Rockwell International.
And, How many people can say they loved their work.
Three years in the Army. Saw a lot of German Steam.
Grew up not far from Union Pacific tracks, Pacific Electric tracks,
and a little farther west, Southern Pacific.
Lived a little part of my life in the town of Yermo.
Just off the Vegas side of the Union Pacific main line.
Saw some of the U.P.'s biggest steam,
The City of Los Angeles, and some great railroadin.
On trips out of town saw Cab Forwards and Santa Fe steam.
As a kid I could ride my bicycle to the Union Pacific's East Los Angeles yards, could actually ride into the yard and take pictures,
got some shots of the early Turbines.
Also rode to the Santa Fe's Redondo yard,
the Round  house was still full of steam.
And a sad thing, saw long lines of S.P. steam waiting for the torch.
Rode the P.E. Big Red Cars, and the L.A.T.L. Yellow cars.
Went to The T Loop several times,
saw the
Royal Hudson Train pass through the Loop.
Saw the 4449 Freedom Train after it left Chatsworth.
As a child had a Marx wind up.
Never had Lionel.
Had an American Flyer set.
Started HO in the fifties.
Got a Märklin set.
Finally, recently started On30,
 Working on my desert-mountain-mining empire.
Saw a lot of great Railroadin in my life.

RC Colas and Moonpies.
We ain't too smart,
But we do have a good time.

I found this,

The PRR #7002 E-3 Atlantic, with 80" drivers, reached a sustained speed of 129 MPH, while making up time with the Broadway Limited.

I know,

How can this be verified.

I like

http://micro-mark.com/

Always Good Service.

I do agree with Stewart,

we should support our Local Hobby Shop,

if possible.

I do buy magazines and small supplies at the L.H.S.,

But they must order Bachmann On30.

And charge Full Price.
