Hello all,

I blew a headlight on a heavy mountain after installing a Tsunami sound decoder. I removed the original board in the tender and hardwired the
new decoder. I installed a resister for a backup light, but forgot to do the same for the headlight...now it seems I'm need to replace the headlight led. I removed the boiler from the locomotive, but think that the split frame will need to be separated in order to remove and replace the existing led. I seem to recall that there are issues with the frame separation, so if any of you have successfully performed that operation, I would appreciate any information that you could send my way.

Thanks,

Fred Everman

Is my question unclear? I would think that with all of the talent out here that  someone has successfully performed this procedure. I have ordered a new headlight led, but would like an idea of what I am getting into before
the fact if possible.

Thanks again,

Fred
