4-4-0 nearing completetion for now. I only have the letters P U  D and Y for the name of the locomotive PURDY. the R decals(accully a whole new sheet) is on its way. Gonna do the tender striping and adding a stripe to the cab, also adding the number on the steam dome.

Update on the Memorial train, GE45 Tonner completed and a surprise project i did a week or two ago

Sarah and Purdy's Locos together, Purdy's needs a smaller number to match Sarah's and still needs her name applied. Both will be done next weekend when I should have the decals to finish it. Also Missing from Purdy's is the marker lights which i have in a safe location so i do not loose them while working on the engine. A picture will also be applied once i get more blank decal paper. my local supplier is out of stock right now.

B&O Snow Removal Equipment, The Baggage car is to represent a weight car to help smaller locos push through snow drifts without much backing up.

Very nice work.

Just out of curiosity... Is there a prototype for the 45-tonner?  It's not important.  I've decorated a few things in ways that never existed.  Will do it again.  Just wondering...

Regards,

Jonathan

Track 2(middle)
B&O Shay #6 - Oddly enough just needs an overcoat to seal the decals. I had stripped the tender and coal bunker because of so much paint was taking the rivit detail away(was never happy with the lettering). Did that work about 8 or 9 months ago.
50T Climax - Probably going to be spruced up for a display piece, missing too many parts to repair fully.
4-6-0 - Once I get a tender for it(i have one somewhere) going to become C&O #5 for Excursion service painted up in O.T. Lettering like the one in the B&O Museum.
you missed one! whats that hiesler on track 2?????????????

BRING BACK THE 425!!!!!
(or 2102. or finish the 113!!!!)

Yeah I think they look better that way for thier purpose as a Memorial Locomotive. I just got the green ones decals today to add Purdy's name to the engine and will add it tomorrow morning along with the correct size number. I will also replace the capital dome so its straighter and then add the marker lights. Then all that's missing is Purdys picture on the front which will come as soon as i can get more decal paper.

Josh, Those are gorgeous locos - well done! Are they the Richmond modern 4-4-0? I have some projects going on but they do not have a nice yard as yours. They are scattered around my workbench, but I'll try to get some pictures. Two years retired I am finally settling down to work on my trains :D

I kept mine as a coal burner because a) I wanted it that way, and b) I was afraid to mess with the tender to change the fuel load for fear of breaking something.  :D

You do beautiful work.  :)

BaltoOhioRRfan

Thanks. I have several Richmonds, These are the only two with wood loads.  I have at least 5 Others, 3 in B&O and 2 in Maryland & Pennsylvania. All coal.

Switching to Wood isn't very hard at all, just pop out the coal(you may break off one or two of the plastic poles that secure it in place)  and then just sit the wood load in the tender. DO NOT GLUE IT if you plan on putting the tender back into the box for transport. IT will not fit.
