Hey there...
I am have a Bachmann Highballer 24300, probably about 10 years old...
It was my Dad's, and I really want it to run.  The track is missing these tiny little connections, so there is only juice to half the track... I thought it would be easy to just buy replacement track, HOWEVER, it seems all there is is this EZ track and although I can't get a real clear picture, it does not look like my track...something about the roadbed or something like that...
Anyway, after that babble, my question is, is this EZ track compatible with my old track?  If not what are my options???
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!!!

Your old track needs to be shimmed by cork to get it up to the level of EZtrak.
Another option may be to get some "crazy foam" to shim the track.

A better option for plastic track is to check out Kato Unitrak. It is much better quality.

Atlas also makes sectional Code80 trak. THis could be an option if you only need to replace a curve or 2. Atlas also supplies plenty of rail joiners if you need some.

Thanks so much!! Rail joiners, what a great new word in my train vocabulary!!
I will try that first and then look into expanding with higher quality track as this train bug infests me!!
I think these trains could be a lot f fun!!
Thanks again, many blessings to you!!
