Hello,

Can anyone tell me which pieces are needed to build a figure 8 with EZ track, using a 90 degree crossing and 18" radius curve?  Which pieces would be needed if one were using 22" radius curves?

Thank you,

The basic figure 8 consists of the following:

Start with a 90 degree crossover. The one I have has the four 2" pieces... you will need to attach those to each leg of the crossover. Then add a 9" and 6" piece to each as well. You will also need 18 curved 18 degree radius pieces, using nine on each end to complete the figure 8. Oh yeah, one of those 9" straights should be a terminal track...

As for using 22 degree radius curves, you will need 24 of them, twelve for each end, and replace the 6" straights with more 9" straights.

I am not positive on this but am very confident this is accurate. Hope this helps!

You could also make an 18" radius figure eight with a 30 degree crossing.
