wheel axle "carriage"

My 2-8-0 Bachmann loco needs the part where the wheel axles sit in, it is metal and it has square cut outs for the wheel nuts. Could not find it in the parts dept.

I called and the part is available. Debating if I should install it or have a Bachmann Tech do it. Those parts are really small, especially 'cause my eyes aren't like they use to be.
