I have a "Imperial Crown #5600' Southern Pacific GS-4 Daylight Engine
I had stored it for about a year, when I took it out the wheels were "locked up"
Any ideas on how to fix?
Are there any service manuals?
Thanks

kjd,

I don't know of any service manuals for Williams.  However there is a good chance that the side rods have slipped out of place and will need adjusting.
If you are not confident about making the adjustment contact Bachmann, and they will let you know what to do(like sending it to them for repair).

Have you checked it over carefully to see if maybe a screw or other piece of metal might be caught in the gear train? Nothing mechanically should have changed unless you dropped it.

Like Ron mentioned, look for a foriegn object somewhere in the cab or drive train and gear area. Most engines should not have any problem being stored for just a year or two.
