Hello, I'm new to trains and know nothing about them.... :)

I bought an older model from an antique shop yesterday, and I can't seem to get the track connected. I'm wondering if I'm missing a piece? I have 6 tracks, plus the 1 with the power connectors. The model number is 24300. I can't seem to pull up info on it.

Can anyone help me?

I don't know what came with that set; I'm thinking either a very basic circle or a basic oval.

A basic circle would require at least 12 curved Bachmann tracks. For an oval, 12 curves and 2 straights.
Include your terminal track as 1.

Is the terminal track curved or straight?

Either way, sounds like you are missing a bunch of track, about half.

Edit:   A bit of research on eBay tells me that you should have a 24in diameter circle of track. You are missing 5 curves.
