I have two DCC sound on board engines, a 2-8-0 and the shay with Tsunami sound factory added.  I am unable to reprogram one of the engines to a diffeent address other than 3.  I have gone through the directions from Soundtraxx and MRC whose Express DCC system I have and have not been able to get anything to work.  I hope that someone can help.   Thank you.

According to the "Express" manual,  you cannot use adress programming
you have to do it  by using the CV programming method.

In the manual they mention "QSI" but the "Tsunami" presents the same
problem as "QSI".

In order to program a Tsunami DCC decoder you MUST have a DCC booster in series with your programming track leads. See Tony's trains web site for more information.

Good Morning All,

Someone correct me if I am wrong,  but I do not believe you can program and address on the main with ops mode programing.   All other CVs you can.

Bob - not sure with other systems, but you can diefinitely program both short and long addresses on the main with the NCE PowerPro system.
