QuoteI love the layout, and can't wait to see your mountain!

just one question, what is the most tight radius? They seem a little (too) tight....   Otherwise, I think as long as your not running Gordon or Henry, you should be fine

And I also love the weathering on the water tower!

Thanks man. The radii is mostly 18", but the inside track on the double track segment has some 15" to compensate.

Ah yes and the water tower. My dad actually did that (my weathering skills are subpar) He's sure got the eye for detail.

Oh yep, I have the exact same problem with the rosenhiem layout :P its a complete pain, and I :P have to tighten the radius towards the bridge, so Gordon, Henry and Spencer all fall off ITS A NIGHTMARE >:(.

I think I've said this already, but I had the same trouble with Douglas on my Konigsfeld layout. Luckily I was able to rework the track on the outer loop, so Douglas can now handle the outer loop, but not the inner loop. Surprisingly, Gordon (and I therefore suspect, Henry & Spencer) handles both loops well...anyway, I'd love to see some photos if you have any...you know, just to see how it's progressing...maybe even help out before you secure down the track?

Well if you come to the club's exhibition today I should be there, I have some photos on my phone, or I should be down at the club when things pick up again :).

Nice layout you have there! The sketch is pretty nice too. Going for a RWS approach to Sodor?

Nope, just going for a TV Series approach as I'm gonna be doing the Watermill from Season 2.

Dude, I like the design, but How big is the board? In order to fit all the curves and things you have planned, you be looking at 5-6 feet wide by 10-11 feet long....

It looks great! but there just might not be enough space for it all.

I can try to make some space. Me and my Dad just need to clean the whole basement, and get rid of some old stuff from that room.

Looking good! I just think I should warn you to be very careful with your models on that straight on the edge in the last photo. ;)

You've been busy!
*EDIT* So have I! Here is more on the quarry! Still working on it though. I have to make a hopper, cover the cliffs in a rock mold, and add more track and ballast. But it is coming!

I agree! Not only is it dangerous, but it really won't look good. There should be a little scenery between the viewer and the track.

so you just add a 1x6 shelf along the front where the track gets close to the edge.

Thanks veryobw for your comments! I think I may just add a little peice of foam (about half a foot) out in that spot. Thanks for pointing that out guys! It's just begun! I'm going for a small town USA flare. Here's a drawing on where it'll be:

Any thoughts? More coming soon! I need to show new pictures.
