Stepney the 'Bluebell' Engine

Sadly no, those markings you see on the board, was originally where Elsbridge had been built, before it was decided to move the station to the other side of the board, since i wasn't able to add the road leading to the building on the hill before, but i personally think the move was good, since it enabled me to be able to add a little more detail than originally.

The tunnel is being worked on and will hopefully be ready by Monday, same with the good yard, depending on the weather and also if i don't run out of dual-rail joiners. :P

I believe that van is a Dapol Fruit Van:

I believe Hattons ship to the states but postage will be high I think...
They're nice vans though I must say.

Alternately, eBay might have a few?
Steam, Diesel? It's All The Same.

You can change the currency to USD's on thier website, I've bought products from ehattons before.

the van is 12£, 10£ for the van itself and 2£ for VAT. minus the VAT, 2£, and add the 3-5 day shipping, 3£, and it will add up to 13£. 13£ is like $20/21. so in a way that's cheaper than getting an american freight car

Woah woah woah! 20 Dollars is a lot for a van! About 80% of US Rolling Stock is under 20 dollars. I bet! In stores, how often do you see one van for more than 20 dollars! Just saying

You'd be lucky to find a well detailed, up to NMRA Standards frieght car anymore. It's well over 25 dollars for one of those good cars.

When you buy from eHattons, be sure to buy a large quantity of items so that you can save some money by getting a lot of items in one shipping load. A few times, I recall the check out process not counting VAT for me since I was a foreign purchaser.

Either way, Bachmann Thomas stock for larger vans like the Well Wagon and Mail cars prices around $16-20 on eBay anyway.

Skarloey

Well, for cases like me, where Model Railway stores are nowhere in sight, I have to order offline, and 20$ for a highly detailed van, compared to a Troublesome Truck for 26$, I'm fine with that. Besides, I can just order the separate faces from the parts section of this site. (No offense to you, Bachmann)

Look in the product info on the just the Bachmann site and you'll find no piece of US rolling stock under $19.50  ::)

  Yeah, Manufacturer's price!

But rarely online will you see that actually see that piece only available for 20+

And NMRA Standards are garbage. :P

There are so many great options, just look around! Don't spend 20, even 15 for a piece of rolling stock unless it something you REALLY want.

Ok, I finally have something good to put in this thread...

My layout plan!
Here is the geometry, it's hornby track.

this is how I will outfit it with scenery:

any questions? just ask!  and T&F:ReBorn! will not be filmed on this layout.  it will be filmed on temperary sets .

SodorAdventures

Sounds great, but add some creativity, don't go by the books.  Its much more fun that way ;)

     Either way, Have fun!

Also, i would like to point out that you have crossovers connecting your inner oval to your outer oval. YOU WILL NEED PLASTIC JOINERS in order to run two train at once. Don't worry, they are about 3 bucks.
