Wow' 8 whistles to choose from!

Went to the club last night and put my little sound value 2-6-0 mogul on the programing track to adjust the bell volume,and decided to check out some of the other settings just out of curiosity. amazing thing was i found that this little bugger has 8 selectable whistles !!
Now the more expensive Spectrum series of steamers only had 3 whistlesto choose from......suprise...suprise!!

That is weird.reading decoder pro on our Pc at the club  the whistle selection on mine listed 8 whistles....course I didn't try them all.
Is it possible for the manufacturer to have goofed up the decoder?

My mistake' 3 is the correct number
feller at the keyboard was looking at the wrong decoder

LOL, Bummer, I was going to go back into decoder pro and double check
