I have a WBB CNW GP9 with a broken pilot.
I know in the past I was able to purchase replacement parts like this for all Williams engines.
I do not see these items listed on the website and I am having trouble getting through to the parts and service department.

Does anybody know if I can get a replacement for this?

Thanks
Bill

Your best solution for your broken pilot is simply to glue it using superglue or any hobby glue that won't damage the paint or cause any warping.

So far, the only parts you will find on the WBB parts page, are replacement trucks for the WBB Peter Witt streetcar

Another option is to look on E-Bay to see if anyone is selling the loco in question, but as a source for parts (not operational)

This may not be the right place for this but it does seem to be to me.
I have a friend who was a Lionel repairman for fifty + years. He stopped
repairing locos built after about 2000 because partswere/are generally
available.I don't think this is just a Lionel problem.IMHO it seems to be
a problem for all of the manufacturers/importers.

I understand that a lot of original parts for post war models are still
available and almost everything has had a replica part made by someone.
Personally,if I bought a locomotive that cost $1000.00 + and had a problem
and was told that parts are not available I would be very unhappy.
Even a lower cost product,of which I have many, that did not have support
would disturb me considerably.

You might try contacting the parts department, I have purchased parts not on there website.

It does not appear that Bachman is stocking up parts for their new engines either. I think they simply strip new engines for parts. Charles Phillips bought all the Williams parts when Bachman took over. He has a lot of parts and generally has what you need.

Does Charles Phillips have a web address??

We purchased 2 O-Gauge NW-2 engines a B&O and a Union Pacific and both had the

circular radio antennae broken I've contacted Bachmann but have not heard back.

Wondering if just in case Bachmann doesn't come through Charles Phillips might have the part.
