I was watching a German program that showed a product I thought was handy. It is a car that you can hook up to your train and it lay's ballast down. I don't know if you might like it, but I think it would be helpful for those hard to reach places.

Looks interesting, but at  125  Euros for  the HO scale it is a little bit expensive .  J2.

A mini fertilizer spreader. Neat! :D  Definitely usefull to some but at the price I think homemade one based on the ammonium nitrate dropper hanging in my garage would work as just about as well. But still cool thanks. My Ojibwa Grandmother would have called that "Injun-uity at its best" 8). Laying the stuff ain't always fun. In fact its so much fun I never use it anymore. Whats it look like? Well, my neighbor's back yard was inspired by our layout. Hates mowing the lawn, so he paved it all and painted it grass green!  ;D No joke! ;D
