HO Santa Fe train

Hello..I am new to this board....I am sure this is a simple question for you guys....I have a Bachmann HO Train set....I want to run it on a wall from one side of room to the other on the same wall ....what is the simplest way to have it run forward....then when it reaches the end it goes in revers and starts all over again...thank you for your time

I would think a complete set of the autoreversing track would do what you want.

Is it possible to use regular track with the auto reversing track?   Ex....auto reversing at both ends and regular in the middle?  Or is this a really silly question and the answer is no..

The answer is no but it's not a silly question.

It's not a total "no". It is possible but you have to use additional wiring to replace the built-in wiring in the reversing track.
